Documentary: Tokyo Rising

A few months back, I was watching vids on youtube when I saw an ad by Palladium which is what caught my eye because a while back, Urban Outfitters was selling a pair of their boots online; I fell in love and wanted them SO badly.  Unfortunately they were beyond my budget and I forgot about them until I saw the advertisement.  So when I read the ad more closely, it was about a documentary called "Tokyo Rising."  I was like "huh... i like Palladium, I like documentaries, and I am Japanese" anndd that is how I came to watch this documentary.

I must say it is a very rich documentary hosted by Pharelle about Tokyo, 3/11, art, and music.  I also like it because it is very visually pleasing and showed a world that seemed like a fantasy! Watch and agree~

Part 1
I'm not that big of a fan of Verbal's music, BUT he is an interesting person; he's funny on talk shows and sometimes... his outfits are weirder than lady gaga. He is a man gaga.  I love his personal style and the fact that he is so international; he is korean but raised in Japan, then studied abroad in the east coast of America where he fatefully found his inspiration in music and his sweetheart and wife YOON... Verbal and Yoon are like THE power couple XD they're so cool.  I want their lives haha.

Part 2
The underground drain they visit is AMAAAZZING. It looks like CG. This is also where they store Japan's secret war weapon; GUNDAMS.. they were removed before Palladium came. I bet if the rest of Japan had to play hide and seek with Tokyo... Japan would lose lol.

Part 3

Part 4

I would LOVE to visit Garter.  It looks so hole in the wall with hidden treasures XD
Since I'm still just a college student, I wear a lot of mediocre, plain, comfort clothing, BUT when I have enough of my own money and freedom, I would like to challenge statement pieces n such and wear them like its a second nature. ^^

Part 5
Trippple Nippples... what can I say.. this documentary was the first time I ever heard of them.  They're weird,  Their creative minds are beyond anyone else's imagination, and they look like they've got their own thing going on so props to them.

THE END
wasn't that fun?!
