That reminds me...

This was supposed to be a short post simply for your entertainment, but I ended up blabbering about a drama in the end.  Don't worry, its funny... at least to me.

Kay well, in my previous post, I was talking about music and piano which led me to recall an old story that you all may find interesting and not very useful.

I like classical music, but I also do have something against it.  Specifically one fanfare has killed loud classical music for me.  I don’t remember what the fanfare’s title was, but the back story for me starts with my personality.  I've always been the type to sleep in until lunch or later whenever possible.  I was like that then and still am now.  Anyways, when I was younger, my extremely restless mother found it unacceptable when I slept in.  Her solution to that; wake me up with her collection of classical music on full blast while vacuuming.  What a loving mother eh? Well that classical music always started with a certain fanfare.  When she used this inhumane method to wake me, I would desperately try to block the noise out and go back to sleep, but honestly it is the hardest thing to sleep through ughh the trumpets and what not.  Torture I tell you!

Lately, classical music has redeemed itself after I watched a drama called Nodame Cantabile.  If you don’t know it, watch it :D  It is a romantic comedy based off a manga, but not just any romantic comedy.  It is about two very opposite music students.  The guy, Chiaki, is the OCD type who is also afraid of riding planes and boats.  The girl, Noda Megumi aka Nodame, is a very messy, weird, shameless girl.  Both are not your typical characters but they are very charming, and might I add, Chiaki is quite handsome.  Want to know how they get together? Well go watch it then :) you wont regret it unless for some reason you hate love and laughing.

Lovely.

These are just some creepy screenshots I found online of Nodame played by Ueno Juri..
You will forget that Nodame and Chiaki will ultimately get together like every Asian drama because the entire story is just so hilarious and original.

Here's some eye candy to recover from the previous two images.  THIS is Tamaki Hiroshi, the actor for Chiaki and he is sooooooooo damn fine XD

The guy above is a minor character from the drama.  One thing I just can't get over is that this guy above shares the same name as my middle name.  This is what happens when you have a unisex name.  Well I guess I did laugh my ass off when I found out... but its still sucks that the only other person I know with my name is an afro haired, Chiaki stalking, homosexual, male timpany player.

I also read the first manga even though I'm not really a manga type of person.  It just so happened that I was studying in a library next to the manga section.  Kira and I got extremely distracted.
I'll just tell you, this show made me want to buy a keyboard, which I have not yet.
Back to my point, which is... i guess I do kinda... somewhat... like classical now. kbye
